Growing up in a catholic school, I learned about God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit as well as Mother Mary and the Saints, especially Santo Nino. I learned about being generous, compassionate and selfless in the company of the Franciscan Sisters during my preteen years.
However, I did not have a personal relationship with God until I received Jesus as my Savior and Lord. I clearly remember that day when I was attending a bible study on August 23, 1987 when I confessed Jesus as my Savior and received forgiveness for my sins. I was filled with joy instead of guilt and shame. The words in the bible became alive to me as if God was talking to me directly. This was the start of having a powerful walk with God.
I later endeavored to know more of God through a discipleship program called Operation Solid Lives and learned that God has given us the authority and the anointing to have dominion in every aspect of our lives.
