As a mother, I realized the importance of having a vision for my children. My mother had a vision for her children and her vision spoke in the end despite against all odds. This book tells her story. I vividly remember that day she was sitting on the wheelchair while I was preparing her for dialysis. She said, “Why is God not taking me to be with Him now?” I couldn’t hold my tears back and quietly rubbed lotion on her legs. My mother said, “I already fulfilled my assignment to raise my children!” She also quipped, “I DID IT!” Although she has gone to be with the Lord in 2014, we remember her. Her birthday is on September 18th.
